Planned Preventative Maintenance Engineer - London, United Kingdom (On-site)
PPM Engineer - Fire Extinguishers – Pirin Court - Nights
Reporting to the Senior Supervisor, the PPM Engineer will undertake planned maintenance activities on a wide range of assets, mainly in the Trackside environment. The role involves working on a permanent night shift from Sunday to Thursday, in all weather conditions. Autonomy and safety are crucial, and a full driver’s license is required due to frequent travel between stations.
Key responsibilities include:
* Completing preventative maintenance tasks nightly
* Guiding daily task delivery in line with business expectations
* Working independently and as part of a team
* Maintaining health and safety standards
* Monitoring work compliance
* Using ServiceNow platform for reporting
Additional responsibilities:
* Providing accurate site reports
* Completing maintenance as per schedule
* Ensuring maintenance standards and reporting issues
* Timely completion of administrative tasks
* Adhering to QEHS and Drug & Alcohol policies
Qualifications and skills:
* Understanding of system maintenance procedures relevant to the contract
* Knowledge of relevant systems
* Experience in the LUL or Rail environment
Ideal candidate profile:
Seeking an engineer with experience in planned or preventative fire maintenance, preferably within London Underground or Network Rail. Must work nights (Sunday to Thursday, 10 pm – 6 am), have experience in multi-site maintenance, and hold a full UK driving license. Drug & Alcohol testing is mandatory.
