As a growing group, we seek a highly skilled and motivated Financial Accountant to support our financial objectives through effective management reporting, budget oversight, and statutory compliance. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth financial operation of our hearing care business, directly impacting our ability to provide exceptional care and service to our clients. Monitor Business Performance: Produce monthly management accounts, ensuring timely and accurate reporting to aid strategic decision-making. Budget Creation and Oversight: Creation of group budgets and provide consistent reporting to measure performance against these budgets. Financial Performance Translation: Communicate financial performance to all JVP entities and Amplify sub-departments, ensuring clear understanding across teams. Year-End Support: Assist the Finance Director in preparing year-end statutory accounts, maintaining adherence to all statutory requirements. Audit Readiness: Develop and maintain robust financial processes and procedures, preparing the business for smooth and efficient external audits. About you If you are a detail-oriented, proactive financial professional with an AAT/ACCA or similar qualification and a commitment to supporting a high-performance finance team, we would love to hear from you. You’ll be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Sage Line 50. You need to be able to work well with others, manage your time effectively, and pay close attention to the small stuff. You'll help us keep our finances running smoothly by working closely with our Finance Manager and making sure we meet all our deadlines.
