In the role of Financial Control Systems Senior Analyst, you support and maintain key Finance & Treasury Systems daily. You are the first point of contact for all queries or issues related to Finance & Treasury Systems, Processes, and Controls.
This is a unique chance to gain in-depth exposure to the financial operations and treasury functions within a bank, providing a comprehensive understanding of how financial strategies are executed and managed.
What you’ll be doing
* Performing BAU Tasks and using expertise to resolve system/access issues. You’ll engage with third parties if required & be responsible for systems access across the whole of Finance and Treasury through RBAC.
* Carrying out Financial Control month-end activities, monitoring user access of the relevant systems and maintaining the Chart of Accounts. Alongside, daily reconciliations to ensure integrity & accuracy.
* Managing the Treasury Management System (Quantum), providing SME functional support & building user-specific reports.
* Identifying & improving upon inefficiencies, assisting in system developments & projects within the Finance and Treasury area.
* Pro-actively identifying and managing the risks within your area of responsibility ensuring they are within the Bank's risk appetite tolerance.
We need you to have
* Experience within a Treasury, Finance or Technology function.
* A Strong Attention to Detail.
* Excellent Verbal & Written Communication.
* Good knowledge of Excel.
And if you have any of these, even better
* Advanced Excel Skills.
* Worked within an Agile Environment.
* Experience Developing Reports & Data Analytical Skills.
* Finance or Treasury qualifications (or working towards).

Role Alignment: Following the announcement regarding Tesco's strategic partnership with Barclays, this role will support our banking business and will transfer to Barclays UK towards the end of 2024, subject to regulatory approval. Please note, the transfer date may change.
