We are looking for 2 Junior Analysts to come into our team and develop the skills needed to manage and configure a world-class Electronic Patient Record (EPR).
Our EPR is already mature and in use by CHFT and by BTHFT; however, we expect a greater volume of work when Airedale General Hospital joins us in 2025.
These Junior Analyst roles will report into a Workstream Lead (see org chart below) and will spend time working in all of the workstreams to understand and gain experience in the range of specialist areas the system covers.
The team is made up of staff at 3 Trusts (CHFT, BTHFT, and AGHFT) who work together as a highly skilled and expert team to ensure the EPR meets the needs of users across all of the Trusts. The team includes a range of clinical, administrative, and information systems skilled staff.
Responsibilities:
1. The post holder will work to the priorities set by the workstream leads, working to agreed deadlines and reporting back on progress at regular intervals.
2. The post holder will be an integral member of the Shared EPR Team and work closely with colleague specialists who configure and develop the EPR.
3. The post holder will undertake an agreed plan of learning and familiarisation relevant to the Cerner millennium EPR.
4. The post holder will work alongside colleagues in the workstreams shown on the organisational chart and with others in the Informatics function (e.g., Information, Data Quality).
5. Applicants will be expected to have a good working knowledge of Microsoft software packages with an interest in clinical systems and/or experience of hospital process either clinically or administratively.
6. The postholder would be expected to work as part of a collaborative team and be able to undertake a variety of unsupervised tasks as needed to an appropriate quality and with training where necessary.
7. The post-holder will need to be comfortable working on a computer for most of the day, and able to absorb information, and learn from online materials as well as by asking colleagues for direction.
8. The team has a hybrid working model, and the post holder will be required to work from home as well as from hot desks at the administrative site in Elland and the hospital sites in Bradford, Airedale, Huddersfield, and Halifax.
