Field based role with 4k car allowance and commission.
Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm.
IT Distribution/Manufacturing experience is strongly desired for the BDM role.
Summary of BDM responsibilities:
1. Work with selected existing and potential customers to understand overall and specific needs in order to establish regular supplier position.
2. Develop relationships with Suppliers that lead to sales opportunities being passed to us.
3. Provide field sales resource for specific Supplier activity and projects.
4. Actively seek opportunities to increase gross margin & be the distributor of choice.
Main duties for the BDM:
1. Identify potential new customers and opportunities within our existing prospect database and through your own research and existing contacts.
2. Introduce products to selected potential customers and take appropriate actions that will result them becoming customers.
3. Undertake appropriate activity to develop relationships with and build sales to selected prospects and customers.
4. Promote our product set ahead of competing brands.
5. Report on additional brand and product requirements of customers.
6. Keep internal sales team updated as to required actions and outcome of customer meetings.
7. Effectively pass accounts to internal sales colleagues for regular account handling.
8. Effectively utilise the resources of the company to win, retain and grow sales and to increase margin.
9. Keep abreast of industry trends and changes in legislation which present new business opportunities.
10. Monitor aged stock to reduce stock write down.
