An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Finance Systems Manager to join a leading law firm, with flexibility to work remotely or on-site (UK or Jersey).
In this pivotal role, you’ll be responsible for managing, maintaining, and enhancing the firm’s financial systems – with a particular focus on the Aderant Practice Management System.
You’ll play a key part in ensuring finance systems operate efficiently, support business needs, and deliver an excellent user experience through smart development, configuration, and training.
Key responsibilities:
* Lead the management and ongoing development of the firm’s financial systems (primarily Aderant)
* Oversee system upgrades and technical improvements in collaboration with the IT team
* Deliver expert user guidance and training to maximise system use across the firm
* Take full ownership of the planned Aderant upgrade in early 2026, transitioning the system to the AWS cloud-based Sierra platform
* Support future functionality rollouts and system improvements
What we're looking for:
* Proven experience managing and supporting Aderant within a law firm or professional services environment (essential)
* Background in accountancy or bookkeeping (qualification or practical experience preferred)
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
* A proactive, organised and adaptable approach to work
* Technical expertise in system configuration, upgrades, troubleshooting, SQL, MS Excel, and reporting tools such as SSRS Report Builder and Power BI
