JMC Aviation are working with an MRO company based in Manchester, looking to recruit a new Machine Shop Manager to join their team.
This client is an international line and base maintenance provider, operating a comprehensive level of support for commercial aircraft operators. As an independent MRO, they are able to adapt their approach to respond to rapidly changing requirements and provide services which include component repairs, overhauls, piece part manufacture, aircraft fuel tank repairs, aircraft maintenance, aircraft interiors and AOG support.

This is a Permanent Position based in Manchester.
Working Monday to Thursday, 07:00 - 16:00 and Friday, 07:00 - 13:00.

The Role
The primary purpose of this role is to oversee the daily activities, providing guidance and support as needed.
Other Duties Involve
* Conducting performance evaluations and provide feedback
* Identifying areas for improvement and overseeing the implementation of corrective actions
* Maintaining records in accordance with regulatory and company requirements
* Investigating incidents and accidents, ensuring corrective actions are taken to prevent recurrence
In order to be successful in this role the Machine Shop Manager will need to demonstrate the following skills and attributes
* Time served experience in programming and operating CNC milling machines working with a wide range of materials
* Previous five axis experience (preferably in Hurco but full training will be given)
* Right to work in the UK/EU
