Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will oversee weekly payroll operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. 1. Liaise with department managers to ensure the timely and accurate processing of payroll.
2. Accurately input weekly timesheets to ensure staff are paid correctly.
3. Verify and process payment information in line with company procedures.
4. Manage starters and leavers, including issuing P45s
5. Produce and upload BACS files for payment processing.
6. Prepare and present weekly payroll reports to Senior Management.
7. Ensure compliance with company management systems, reporting, and quality standards.
8. Handle queries from HMRC and ensure deadlines are met.
9. Identify and address payroll liabilities while recommending process improvements.
10. Resolve payroll errors and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
