The Role:
My mainstream client based a short commute from Gloucester is actively seeking a PE Teacher to join their team ASAP on a full-time maternity cover basis. You will be responsible for guiding several classes across a range of ages and ability through an increasingly popular subject. You will need to have excellent communication and a genuine desire to inspire children in order to plan and mark PE lessons across Key Stages 3 to 5 (including BTEC PE). My client is seeking a PE practitioner with the drive to build and refine their skillset, who will work to become the most effective PE teacher they can.
The School:
You will be joining a team of welcoming and enthusiastic PE Teachers, who are eager to meet new additions to their team. You will have full access to the school’s impressive sporting facilities and resources. This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced PE Teachers seeking a new and welcoming environment, as well as ECTs making the first steps in their education career. The successful candidate will be eager to hit the ground running and take on an exciting and diverse range of responsibilities. The PE Teacher could expect a salary in line with the main and upper teacher pay scales of £31,650 - £49,084 depending on the responsibilities of the role and their experience.
