A Housing Association in London is looking for an Income Officer, where you'll play a crucial role in managing rent and service charge collections. Your expertise in legal remedies, welfare benefits, and budgeting will be key to helping customers get back on track quickly when they miss payments.
In this role, you will manage accounts for leaseholders, current, and former tenants, either as part or under the direction of a client landlord. When customers face payment difficulties, you'll take swift action, including court proceedings and working with lenders, to ensure financial viability for both us and our clients.
Key Contributions:
1. Help maintain low debt levels and meet client debt targets.
2. Prevent customers from losing their homes due to arrears.
3. Ensure residents feel supported and know that we've done everything possible to help them sustain their tenancies.
4. Increase resident satisfaction by providing clear guidance on welfare benefits and ensuring they receive the assistance they need.
