Job Description
The project is for the construction of a, first of its kind, large diameter, high-pressure, cross-country pipeline in the northwest of England.
Reporting to the Project Technical Director, the Senior Project Manager - Crossings will be responsible for the strategy, planning, execution and control of the approximately 50No. trenchless crossings across the project.
The role will require the appointee to provide leadership to all personnel on the project and, working closely with the wider project management team, manage the delivery of the trenchless crossing scope of work which includes micro-tunnels, horizontal directional drills, auger bores and potentially direct pipe and pipe rams.
Experience Needed:
Exceptional technical knowledge of multiple methodologies for trenchless pipeline installation.
Proven ownership & accountability, judgment and decision making.
Proven track record in the management of design and construction contracts for cross country pipelines.
Extensive years of crossing engineering experience.
Previous experience working as Project Manager or similar with a good understanding of all disciplines and their part in the overall execution.
Skilled in identifying, handling, and mitigating technical risk in construction projects.
Willingness to work in different locations for short or medium period and to travel nationally.
Qualifications
Minimum 25 years industry experience
Chartered Engineer or equivalent industry experience.
Management experience with the ability to influence at all levels
Experience of a similar role
Sound legal/contractual knowledge
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Valid driving licence

This job is a full-time role, 8am-5pm Monday to Friday from our Warrington Office
