We're working with an innovative, forward-thinking business based in Cumbria. Together, we are seeking a Senior Account Manager to oversee key partnerships with technology and financial services clients, ensuring strong performance, commercial success, and long-term relationship growth.
This is a high-impact position where you will drive performance, optimise trading outcomes, and negotiate commercial terms while ensuring excellent partner experience. You will work closely with internal teams to ensure delivery, compliance, and strategic growth for both parties.
Key Responsibilities
Manage & grow key partnerships ensuring delivery of planned volume and revenue growth, profitability, and long-term retention .
Optimise performance & trading outcomes by tracking KPIs and ensuring commercial targets are met.
Negotiate contracts & commercials to ensure mutually beneficial agreements.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery and execution.
Growth Opportunities: Identify and pursue growth opportunities with partners and internal teams.
Resolve partner issues and ensure complaints are managed in line with regulations.
Business Planning: Participate in year-on-year business planning to predict and shape distribution for the coming year, aligning the wider business behind key initiatives to meet volume and profit targets.
Journey Optimisation: Collaborate with internal and external teams on continued journey
optimisation and improvement.
About You
You thrive in a fast-paced environment where strategic thinking and relationship management go hand in hand. You’re not just a people person—you’re commercially astute, with a keen eye for numbers and a strong grasp of contract negotiation and performance optimisation. You understand the delicate balance of fostering long-term partnerships while ensuring that business objectives are met.
With a background in account management, ideally within financial services, insurance, or tech, you’re comfortable handling multiple accounts, tracking trading performance, and working closely with internal teams to ensure delivery. You have a knack for spotting opportunities for growth, whether it’s through smarter revenue strategies, process improvements, or partner engagement initiatives.
Compliance and governance aren’t just checkboxes for you—you appreciate the importance of adhering to FCA regulations, GDPR, and financial crime policies, ensuring that every partnership is managed with integrity and accountability.
Above all, you’re a natural problem solver—someone who can quickly identify challenges, rally the right people together, and deliver solutions that drive results.
