* Monitoring patients' conditions by taking temperatures, pulse, respirations and weight
* Assisting in the delivery of patient care as directed by the Registered Nurse
* Ensuring that the patient is the prime focus when making decisions about their care and well being
* Assisting patients with compassion when undertaking normal activities of daily living whilst ensuring that privacy, dignity, and human rights are respected
* Meet and greet
* Prepare examination couch

Job Title: Radiology Department Assistant
Trust: East Kent Hospitals Uni NHS Foundation Trust
Location: Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother Hospital
Pay Rates: Day £11.67 per hour
Sat/Nights £15.75 per hour
Sun/Bank Hols £19.72 per hour
Contract length: On going full time Long term
Shift Patterns: 12 hour shifts 7 days a week, no nights.

The role will involve, but not be limited to you performing the above.
What you'll need:
* Minimum of 6 months Acute HCSW UK (Private, NHS or Armed Forces) hospital/hospice experience within the last 2 years
OR
* Currently studying General/Adult Nursing (Student Nurse) and completed a minimum of 12 weeks clinical placements.*
*Depending on the Trust, you may require variable additional certification and skills.

Qualifications
* A minimum of 6 months paid experience in an Acute hospital environment as Radiology Department Assistant department within the last 3 years.
* Comply with NMC Professional Registration and keep up to date with current nursing practices.
