Due to our continuous growth, Corrigenda are looking to recruit enthusiastic and dedicated mechanical engineers and plumbers to carry out a broad range of planned and reactive mechanical/plumbing tasks across Portsmouth and surrounding regions. The work will be predominantly in commercial properties in the education, private & public sectors.
Key Responsibilities Include (but not limited to):
1. Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across the estate (within capabilities and training)
2. Work on own or as part of a team to meet required deadlines and contract performance standards
3. Work flexible working hours to suit business requirements
4. Work safely at all times, including working at height as required
5. Liaise with site staff to gain access to sites and rooms to carry out maintenance tasks
6. Liaise with sub-contractors to complete necessary repairs as required
7. Any other tasks required by the company within skill set/experience
Minimum Requirements / Qualifications:
Essential
1. A suitable City and Guilds or equivalent NVQ qualification
2. Recognised Health & Safety training
3. Good written and verbal communication skills
4. Ability to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction
5. Be able to operate SMART devices and complete electronic documentation
6. Full UK driving licence
7. Pass DBS / Police background checks for working in schools / Police stations
