ABOUT YOU We are recruiting a National Account Manager who will be pivotal in supporting the continued growth of our wines in the UK’s largest grocery retailers. The role is best suited to a National Account Executive looking to step up into an account management role and work across national multiple grocers, independent specialists and online retailers. Working closely with our Senior National Account Managers, you will support the execution of annual off-trade account plans as well as developing customer insights and analysis. This is a varied and demanding role - a positive individual who has the ability to plan and manage with a hands-on attitude is essential. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop Customer Relationships Build relationships with key departments within top four grocers, supporting the flawless execution of brand plans and channel strategy across our key customers Establish ways of working with retailer supply chain, marketing and buying support teams, supporting with day-to-day management of order capture and invoicing Off-Trade Data Management: Maintaining Off Trade channel dashboards and internal reporting Developing insight and action from key data sources, including retailer EPOS data, stockholding reports and Nielsen insights Build actionable insight from regular store visits, including customer range analysis and competitor activity Collaborate with Customer Marketing and Finance to develop strong ROI on retailer campaign investments Demand Planning Use EPOS forecasts and stock reports to develop accurate demand planning by customer & SKU Liaise with customer services to align forecasts with production, dispatch and invoicing Build relationships within the retailers’ supply chain teams ensuring alignment on forecasting and orders Product Management Manage vintage and product changes throughout the year with retailers Maintain all online product pages, updating product images and information as required Liaise with Customer Marketing to support with execution of in store and online media activation SKILLS & EXPERIENCE Previous experience as a National Account Executive or Junior National Account Manager Grocery experience, with drinks industry experience desirable Strong analytical skills and an ability to manage complex data Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Organised with good attention to detail WHAT WE CAN OFFER YOU This is a permanent role with the following: Competitive salary Performance related annual bonus 25 days’ holiday plus a day off on your birthday Wine allowance Employee Discount Enhanced family leave policies Employee Assistance Programme Quarterly company social events ABOUT CHAPEL DOWN Chapel Down is England’s leading and largest wine producer with an award-winning range of sparkling and still wines.
