They socialize together and enjoy coming to work every day. /li /ul p As Head of Health and Safety you'll be responsible for /p ul li Working in partnership with senior management teams, set the highest possible standards of leadership in the promotion of HSEQT procedures and best practice - ensuring compliance with both company procedures and legal obligations. /li li Monitor HSEQT performance through inspections, audits, and engagement - producing performance reports to inform senior management teams and directors decision making. /li li Lead on improvements, initiatives, and targeted campaigns to address areas of poor performance - developing the maturity of our management system, improving lines of communication, and wider business culture. /li li Lead on event investigations, identifying root causes, lessons learnt, and controls to prevent reoccurrence - continually improving our HSEQ performance. /li li Provide accurate advice, support, guidance, and innovative solutions to our management and operations teams - ensuring that industry best practice is adopted as a minimum. /li li Develop safe systems of work in consultation with our operational teams - developing effective controls within RA, MS, and SSOW documentation. /li li Accountability for training needs analysis, functional responsibility for continually reviewing, arranging, and booking training courses in line with business needs - being an ambassador for learning and development company-wide. /li li Build and maintain positive relationships with external customers, supply chain partners, external auditors, and regulators - upholding the company Purpose, Vision, and Values. /li li Champion road safety company-wide - upholding our commitment to Global Fleet Safety. /li /ul p Requirements /p ul li NEBOSH Diploma, NCRQ Diploma, or NVQ Level 6 Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety. /li li Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) - Graduate Member IOSH. /li li CSCS Card - Black Card. /li li Relevant sector experience in a similar role (5 years minimum). /li li Excellent written and verbal communication skills. /li li Ability to maximize and manage their own time effectively in order to meet deadlines. /li li Good interpersonal skills and a willingness to work with people at all levels of an organization. /li li Work collaboratively and engage with fellow employees/staff. /li li IT literate and a comprehensive understanding of Windows-based programs to include Word, Excel, and Outlook. /li /ul p Apply now!
