Clinic Receptionist - Well Travelled Clinics
Part-time (23 hours per week) permanent appointment
Location: Working across both the Liverpool and Chester Clinics
Our World Class Well Travelled Clinic is seeking an organised and efficient Receptionist with a passion for delivering exceptional service. As part of the prestigious Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine, we provide specialist travel and occupational health services, helping clients prepare for safe and healthy journeys around the globe.
As the first point of contact for clients in both our Liverpool and Chester Clinics, you will play a vital role in ensuring our clinic operates smoothly.
Key elements of the role are (but not limited to):
* Setting up the reception area and till ready for the clinic.
* Greeting patients and booking appointments.
* Dealing with transactions and taking payment.
* Using the Patient Administration System for patient and clinician management.
* Dealing with card transactions for travel clinic and retail purchases.
* Maintaining the retail displays and ensuring accurate information in reference to the retail products is displayed.
* Identifying and reordering where appropriate; actively promoting the retail opportunities to customers.
* Being the point of contact for clients.
* Performing general office duties such as photocopying, scanning and printing.
* Covering for clerical staff when necessary.
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate:
* Educated to GCSE or equivalent.
* Experience of working within administration and confidence when dealing with clients and patients face to face and over the phone.
* Experience of using administration systems, including data entry and analysis.
* Understanding of patient confidentiality and maintaining protection of patient data.
This is a part-time role (23 hours a week to be worked between Monday – Saturday 08:30 – 19:00; 3 full days at 7 hours per day; (there will also be two Saturday mornings per four-week period) working across both clinics.
