JOB TITLE: ELECTRICAL TEAM LEAD
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
·As part of a global support organization, the Electrical Team Lead will support the Maintenance and Reliability Manager by acting as the single point of contact within the Petrofac Global Technical Solutions (GTS) team providing a key role in technical discipline guidance and support to the for the electrical discipline across the wider Petrofac Operated Assets portfolio.
·Leading a team of disciplined engineers, the Electrical Team Lead is expected to build a high performing team to deliver on client and internal expectations. Seeking out opportunities across the business for both team members and self-development are a key part of the role, along with performance management.
·The position will delegate, provide input, technical support, create and review technical bids whilst driving operational efficiencies across the organization.
·The Team Lead role will be expected to rapidly develop a strong working relationship with the Electrical Technical Authority, working towards being in a position to provide DoA.
·Ensure all work by team members complies with Petrofac and industry codes and standards.
·Provide electrical technical support to, and implement instructions from, the Maintenance and Reliability Manager.
·Provide day-to-day supervision, guidance, and support to all electrical discipline engineers and technicians within the team.
·Provide electrical maintenance input into technical bids using best practice’s / lessons learned.
·Contribute to the development of the plans, schedules, and estimates for the individual work scopes.
·Interface with the Petrofac technical authorities to enhance performance. standards, PMAs and meters to support SECE maintenance assurance.
·Responsible and accountable for the delivery of Electrical Ex campaign activities and build growth within the service offering.
·Ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with asset priorities and schedules as set out in the integrated plans.
·Ensure as far as possible all work is carried out in compliance with the agreed budget and schedule.
·Liaise with other disciplines in the execution of the work.
·Give appropriate support to the team members and be a conduit for all HR- related issues.
·Prepare estimates / CTRs and assist in the review of proposed schedules.
·Responsible for specific change and improvement initiatives.
·Keep up to date with technical developments, national and international standards and legislative requirements related to the scope of the discipline, including assisting in the training and technical development of engineers.
·Provide a conduit into the Technical Authority team for resolution of technical queries.
·Provide bi-annual performance reviews and goal setting to team members.
·Chair team meetings and provide motivational support to team members.
·Hold monthly meetings with Operations Managers, ISP contract managers, O&M contract managers and team leads to develop a manning profile for yearly activities.
·Deputize for the Electrical Technical Authority as required.
·Deputize for Instrument and Controls team Lead as required.
·Responsible for electrical budget input to Operations manager during OPEX build.
·Maintain and monitor LE and take accountability of own budget lines within client OPEX & CAPEX agreed budgets.
·Raise additional CAPEX or OPEX spending requests as required throughout the budget year dependent on breakdowns and urgent implementation requirements.
·Review budget lines as per cycle through to COP and decommissioning of facilities.
·Candidate should have strong interpersonal skills and problem-solving attributes.
·Be able to work on your own initiative with minimal OEM involvement.
·Strong fault-finding methodology.
·Be safety focused on all times ensuring this is at the forefront of any decision making.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
·Engineering Degree in a relevant engineering discipline or equivalent.
·Chartered Engineer preferred.
·Necessary certification for travel offshore
·Knowledge and experience of Instrumentation discipline preferred.
·Must be conversant and knowledgeable with respect to current and new legislation and standards.
·Must be willing to travel offshore / site.
·Capable of representing Petrofac and Client to business associates in a professional manner.
·Team player.
·Computer literate in Microsoft Office Applications and relevant discipline specific software.
·Proactive and motivated to deliver.
