A large PLC listed business in Manchester is looking for a Group Finance Manager to join their team. This role is ideal for someone who wants to advance their career and enjoy flexible working arrangements.
Your new role
1. Preparation of technical accounting papers for the Board and auditors.
2. Technical support on other accounting projects including ad-hoc advice.
3. Production of subsidiary statutory accounts, including support with the PLC accounts and Annual Report for the Group.
4. Prepare the group's consolidation and for consolidation entities.
5. Preparation of year-end audit schedules as required.
6. Technical accounting guidance for the group.
7. Provide guidance to the business and agree on implementation plans that will keep the Group compliant with current and revised standards (IFRS).
8. Prepare other schedules required for external reporting.
What you'll need to succeed
1. Fully Qualified ACA / ACCA / CIMA Accountant.
2. Strong analytical and report writing skills with the ability to present financial information clearly and concisely.
3. Strong technical accounting knowledge.
