Audit & Administrator Compliance Executive Location: Southport /Hybrid Fletchers Solicitors Ltd have a fantastic opportunity to join our growing Team. The role will require you to work within the Risk and Compliance team providing auditing functions of personal injury files and providing feedback to the Head of Risk and Compliance, and to assist with remedial action in conjunction with the Legal Risk Business Partner (LRBP) in respect of any matters flowing from the audits. Main Responsibilities for the role: Auditing using the Riliance system or such other system that replaces this, ongoing personal injury matters including RTA, EL/PL and Court of Protection Providing feedback resulting from that auditing to team leaders, LRBP / HoE within compliance and ensuring that any feedback is acted upon so as to close and gaps, including completing follow up audits relating to those points Dealing with all client due diligence questions relating to your business area including any failed Smart search searches (or such other system as replaces it). Ensuring we ‘know our client’. Providing feedback to the team where there are concerns. With the support of the LRBP confirming to the Head of or team leader where we have concerns over our ability to continue acting Dealing with all data breaches, internal or external, within your business area. Keeping records of such breaches, managing the firm’s response to these (training, one to one or disciplinary) ensuring this is followed through, and recorded Work with the LRBP in relation to risk assessments and considerations arising from GDPR obligations Provide assistance to the LRBP when they are dealing with work within their role which may include: Complaints, PII reports, LeO escalations Maintain proclaim to ensure all actions within a proclaim case are recorded, diaries maintained and screens completed within the compliance case type Provide data for weekly and monthly reporting Assist the Team in responding to the requirements of external auditors, companies or third parties, to include analysis of cases and such information as necessary to enable the firm to meet its requirements under any agreement. Working with the Internal Audit Team members to scrutinise the integrity of the MI produced to support the firm’s activities To assist with the firms file review process and LEXCEL auditing requirements The ideal candidate will have: Some relevant legal knowledge and experience working within a personal injury field Experience and understanding of working with Proclaim or a similar case management system Excellent analytical skills Excellent attention to detail Good IT skills Ability to communicate effectively with others We reserve the right to close this role before the date specified depending on the calibre and volume of candidates.
