About the role
Balfour Beatty are currently looking for a Technology Services Administrator (12 Month FTC) to join our Connect Plus Services (CPS) team, the role can be based at either the Dartford or South Mimms office
This role includes the scheduling, coordination and management of roadspace and traffic management bookings to support the coordinator and operatives to carry out their duties.
Support the Faults Coordinator in the collecting of all maintenance and fault/failure rectification information and data to compile the monthly reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Support the Team in regards procurement, timesheets, expenses, calibration, training, NHSS portfolios, PPE and equipment ordering.
What you'll be doing
As a Technology Services Administrator (12 Month FTC) you'll:
* Schedule, coordinate and manage roadspace bookings for fault and maintenance tasks to be carried out.
* Records and manages the overtime undertaken by the Field based staff.
* Process material/stock orders in conjunction with the Supply Chain Procurement Team.
* Assists with the correlation of the monthly progress report.
* General administration tasks – minute taking, filing of records etc.
* Provides holiday and sick cover for the Service Coordinator.
* Deals with all stakeholder communication – enquires/complaints.
* Ensures faults that are reported via all 3rd Parties or discovered during maintenance are correctly recorded in Service Now.
* Monitors calibration records.
* Monitors National Highways Sector Scheme 8 engineer portfolios.
* Ensure PPE, equipment and tools are available for issue.
* Coordinate and mange a monthly timetable to ensure reports and information are collated and delivered accurately on time.
* Maintenance of the electronic and manual filing system.
* Assist with maintaining Training records.
* Collate and distribute information for Presentations.
* Any Ad Hoc duties as and when required.
* Adhere to ‘Zero Harm’ safety process at all times.
* Provide a customer focused/service/commercial approach to work.
Who we're looking for
You'll have/be:
* IT literate, conservant with database applications, word and excel
* Must be a good communicator both verbal and written and confident when liaising with the team, third parties and stakeholders
* Good team player.
* Able to manage own time and work on own initiative.
* Demonstrate good time management qualities.
* Previous experience in supporting a Field Based Team would be advantageous
