Job Description
Allegiance Staffing is looking for dynamic Machine Maintenance Technicians to join our client's team in Lancaster, PA. The ideal candidate will have experience in electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic maintenance, with a strong focus on troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance.
Positions are 1st and 2nd shifts, Temp to Hire, and have a pay range of $28-$35 per hour for qualified candidates. If you have experience with ONE or more of the areas below, APPLY TODAY!

* Maintenance Technician 2: Mechanic with welding knowledge.
* Maintenance Technician 3: Air compressor, refrigeration.
The Maintenance Technician reports to the Maintenance Supervisor and this position is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of machinery and equipment within the manufacturing plant.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS include, but are not limited to:
Preventive Maintenance:
1. Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on machinery, equipment, and facility systems.
2. Inspect equipment for proper functioning and detect potential issues.
3. Replace worn parts, lubricate machines, and ensure optimal performance.
Troubleshooting & Repairs:
1. Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic problems with equipment.
2. Perform necessary repairs to minimize downtime and ensure continuous operations.
3. Use tools and testing equipment to assess equipment malfunctions and restore functionality.
Installation:
1. Assist in the installation of new machinery and equipment.
2. Ensure correct assembly, calibration, and configuration according to manufacturer specifications.
Equipment Monitoring:
1. Monitor equipment performance and adjust as necessary.
2. Report any major equipment issues to the Maintenance Supervisor or Plant Manager.
3. Maintain detailed records of repairs and equipment performance.
4. Document all maintenance activities, including completed repairs and parts used.
5. Keep maintenance logs and submit reports to supervisors on equipment status and repairs.
6. Collaborate with other maintenance personnel and plant staff to streamline maintenance tasks.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
1. High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification.
2. 2+ years of experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance.
3. Proficient in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
4. Strong troubleshooting skills with a good understanding of mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
5. Ability to read technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
6. Familiarity with preventive maintenance software and tools.
7. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
8. Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
9. Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with exposure to heat, noise, and dust.
10. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime when needed.
SHIFT: 1st and 2nd Shifts
PAY: $28-$35/ hour DOE
