We are looking for passionate and committed teachers to become part of our dedicated team at a special school in Dudley.About Us:Our institution serves students aged 4-19 with severe and profound learning difficulties. We pride ourselves on creating a safe, nurturing environment where each child's unique needs are met with care and expertise. With around 152 students, we offer customised educational programs and specialised support from a Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) that includes school nurses, educational psychologists, speech and language therapists, and more.Student Needs:Our students have diverse special educational needs, such as:
* Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD): Social interaction, communication, and repetitive behaviour challenges.
* Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD): Issues with attention, impulsivity, and hyperactivity.
* Speech and Language Disorders: Difficulties with verbal and non-verbal communication.
* Learning Disabilities: Struggles with reading, writing, maths, and other academic skills.
* Physical Disabilities: Mobility challenges requiring physical support and accommodations.
* Emotional and Behavioural Disorders: Conditions like anxiety, depression, and other mental health issues.
Your Role:
* Design and implement individualised educational programs tailored to each student's needs.
* Foster a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages learning and growth.
* Evaluate and track student progress, providing regular updates to students, parents, and colleagues.
* Develop and execute individualised education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with the team.
* Support students with daily living skills, including feeding, hygiene, and toileting.
* Modify teaching strategies and materials to suit various learning styles and abilities.
* Manage classroom behaviour and promote positive social interactions.
* Work closely with teaching assistants and other staff to provide comprehensive student support.
Qualifications:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Experience working with children, ideally in a special education setting.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Patience, empathy, and a strong commitment to supporting children with special needs.
* Ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
* Special education qualifications or training are a plus.

Positions Available:We have both full-time and part-time roles, but all positions require availability for the full school day, from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm.How to Apply:Candidates must have experience working with children.
