Our client, a reputable academy based in Cambridge, is seeking a dedicated Level 1B Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the education and well-being of students in a dynamic and inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide support to teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
* Assist with the preparation of learning materials and classroom activities.
* Work with small groups or individual students to reinforce learning objectives.
* Support students with additional needs, ensuring they have equal access to education.
* Encourage positive behaviour and help maintain a safe and stimulating classroom environment.
* Carry out administrative tasks related to teaching and learning as required.
Requirements:
* Previous experience working with children in a school setting is desirable.
* A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to supporting students.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
* Relevant qualifications (e.g., CACHE Level 2/3, TA qualifications) are advantageous but not essential.
