Cadwyn is a community housing association based in Cardiff and is part of the Cadarn Housing Group. Cadwyn are a diverse business with experience in social housing management and development, social lettings, open market/ private rental lets and sales, temporary accommodation, commercial regeneration and an amazing recycling project.
About the role
Our NuLife project has been incredibly busy over the last year delivering much needed services to people across Cardiff and we are expanding our team. Our purpose is to support people in creating a home by offering repurposed furniture and some new equipment to help settle them into their new tenancy. To support this, we also accept donations of furniture and sell other items to the general public in order to fundraise to support vulnerable people.
Our aim is to prevent homelessness, reduce waste and offer volunteer and training opportunities to people whilst doing so.
You'd join a small team with a big heart and a lot of determination to make a difference! There's a lot of exciting opportunities ahead for the project and if you're interested in helping others, have great people skills and enjoy working within a team, then we really want to meet you!
You will work 16 hours per week - with flexibility on the agreed working pattern.

What we are looking for:
Someone who has a can do attitude, with a passion and understanding of the importance of sustainability, who will be committed to the ongoing success of the project.
1. Experience of accurately measuring outcomes & goals
2. Knowledge of sustainable practices including sustainable crafts.
3. Knowledge of effective outreach including social media
4. Developed communication skills to effectively communicate with a diverse range of individuals and groups within the community, both verbally and in writing.
5. Developed IT skills
6. Willingness to support Cadwyn's values
