About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Machinery Compliance Consultant to join a leading engineering compliance consultancy. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, commercial awareness, and strong interpersonal skills. You will be responsible for ensuring machinery and equipment compliance with regulatory standards, advising clients, and contributing to international expansion efforts.

Key Responsibilities
* Conduct mechanical and electrical safety assessments and risk evaluations on machinery and equipment.
* Generate detailed reports and documentation, including presentations for senior management.
* Provide expert advice on regulatory compliance within UK, EU, and US frameworks.
* Engage with clients at all levels, from on-site personnel to executive leadership.
* Stay up to date with evolving regulatory changes and industry standards.
* Adapt to shifting client demands and diverse project requirements.
* Travel domestically and internationally as needed for on-site assessments.
Key Qualifications & Skills
* Strong communication skills to interact with diverse stakeholders.
* Ability to adapt and solve problems in dynamic regulatory environments.
* Intellectual curiosity with a desire to expand knowledge in compliance and engineering.
* Balanced approach to technical expertise and commercial awareness.
* Experience with mechanical and electrical engineering principles (preferably electrical).
* Familiarity with industry standards such as ISO 12100:2010
* Knowledge of US regulatory frameworks is a plus but not required.
Education & Experience
* Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering (preferred) or equivalent experience.
* Candidates with a Mechanical Engineering degree will also be valued, provided they have demonstrable professional experience in electrical engineering
* Additional certifications in safety engineering are advantageous.
* Several years of experience in compliance consulting, engineering safety, or regulatory assessment.
* Experience in a consultancy setting or working with compliance bodies is beneficial.
* Project management experience, including managing multiple deadlines, is important.
