Key Responsibilities: As a Senior Care Assistant on the night shift, you will lead shifts and ensure the highest possible level of care to our residents, supporting their daily living activities and promoting their independence and dignity. Your responsibilities include: Leading night shifts to ensure high standards of care are maintained throughout the night Providing and documenting nightly medication rounds without error Overseeing and supporting your team, ensuring all care tasks are completed to the highest standard Promoting best practices and challenging poor practices Conducting regular one-to-one meetings with team members and addressing any concerns or complaints in line with the Home Manager Essential Requirements: Relevant professional qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care) Minimum of two years’ experience as a Care Assistant in a residential/nursing home setting Understanding of Person-Centred Care Planning and adult safeguarding principles Ability to work under pressure and manage a team Strong communication and time management skills Must live within 30 minutes of the home Preferred Requirements: Two years’ experience in a senior care role Experience working with residents living with dementia NVQ Level 4 in Adult Health and Social Care or above Knowledge of National Care Standards and effective one-to-one performance reviews Why Join Us?
