What we are looking for :
1. Trainers with an Assessing and Training Qualification at Level 3 or above (e.g. CiLD)
2. Experience of teaching, coaching, assessing and/or presenting to groups of adults
3. People who are passionate, adaptable and engaging
4. Be a car owner and driver with insurance to cover business use (mileage paid); or have access to suitable public or private transport
5. An enhanced DBS check is a requirement for this role.
About the Role:
6. Deliver training courses and conduct assessments to a professional and consistent standard in accordance with St John Ambulance requirements
7. Maintain own subject and professional competence in accordance with organisational requirements
8. Building security, opening and closing venues and lone working
9. Work with permanent staff, casual workers and volunteers to maintain good relationships and high standards of training and assessing
10. Pilot new initiatives in training when required
11. Accurate completion and prompt submission of all relevant course documentation

We will consider applications from Trainee Trainers if you do not hold the relevant qualifications. St John Ambulance will provide all the required training. Whilst training the salary will be reduced but will be increased once qualifications are obtained.
