Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting for a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (Level 4), to work in one of our partner secondary schools. The school is in the Llandeilo area and has a centre for children diagnosed with autism. The school provide exceptional levels of support for the young people who attend their centre. The successful candidate with be joining a passionate team who put the needs of the children first and are helping them learn life skills as well as helping them to develop from an academic perspective.
This is an exciting role and is not a ‘normal’ higher level teaching assistant role. The successful candidate will be supporting to manage and lead the group of teaching assistants within the school. There will also be opportunities to support the teaching assistant’s development by offering training sessions and workshops to upskill them. We require applicants to have a level 4 higher level teaching assistant qualification or equivalent.
Joining Teaching Personnel will give the successful applicant access to an industry leading training programme. This includes access to many courses, including Team Teach and our free Level 2 Safeguarding qualification.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
