The Client
Our client are privately owned construction company, they deliver single source construction and engineering solutions to the UK’s public and private sectors with a specialism within healthcare. They are looking for a Facilities and Service Manager to join their team.
The Role of Facilities Manager
The Facilities and Service Manager will be responsible for the service and maintenance of various buildings around the country which are our clients responsibility under Managed Service Agreements with their clients.
Responsibilities of the Facilities & Service Manager
* To deliver cost efficient and effective Facilities Management services to the business across the national portfolio
* Support the pre-construction when pitting MSA’s together during bids, this will include gathering costs for all services within the MSA
* Onboarding and offboarding new and existing locations in alignment with company growth/acquisition
* Assisting with general management of Facilities Management related activities including planned and reactive building service maintenance, project / financial management, space planning, risk management, health and safety, environment and sustainability, and procurement
* Building and developing relationships with key contractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders
* Understanding and delivering statutory compliance and health and safety relating to multi-tenanted commercial property alongside our internal H&S team
* Buildings under management are nationwide so some travel will be required.
