Maths Teacher
Are you an experienced Maths Teacher looking for a new challenge?
U-Educate are currently recruiting for Maths Teachers to work in a secondary school based in Solihull, B92. This is a full-time permanent position with the potential to become permanent due to start April 2025. For this role you must have experience working with KS3 and KS4 students and have qualified teacher status.
Job Description
* To plan, undertake and review a designated programme of teaching.
* To deliver a high quality learning experience for students, which meets internal and external quality standards
* To prepare and update subject materials.
* To use a variety of delivery methods which will stimulate learning appropriate to student needs and demands of the syllabus
* To mark, grade and give written/verbal and diagnostic feedback as required.
* To teach students according to their educational needs, including the setting and marking of work carried out by the student in school and elsewhere.
* To assess, record and report on the attendance, progress, development and attainment of students and to keep such records as are required.
* To provide, or contribute to, oral and written assess
Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Up to date knowledge of Maths curriculum
* Ability to pass an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check to work with children
* Relevant teaching experience across Key stage 3, 4 and 5
* Up to date Safeguarding Training (You can undertake a free course with U-educate if you have not got a safeguarding certificate dated within the last 12 months)
