Our client is looking for additional support for their Operations Manager as they enter an exciting period of growth and modernisation. Working from their Head Office function in West Hull, your primary responsibility will be for the transport planning of their vehicles and goods around the UK. Additionally, there is the expectation that you will also support with operational administrative duties.
Key responsibilities:
* Planning the movement of their fleet and goods around the UK
* Liaising with drivers and acting as the point of contact regarding any delivery issues and queries
* Administering the ISO accreditation for the company
* Creating accurate records relating to compliance and quality
* Co-ordinating training and development activities for internal staff
* Liaising with training providers and booking courses
* Maintaining internal training files
The candidate:
Your experience in logistics and transport planning is essential, coupled with strong IT skills. A willingness to support in an administrative capacity with operational knowledge and experience is also required.
