Allen Lane are delighted to be supporting a public sector organisation based in Derbyshire in their search for an Infrastructure Engineer on a permanent basis. Please note that whilst this is a hybrid role, you will be required on site 2/3 days per week. The organisation has a number of sites locally, so access to a vehicle for work purposes would be beneficial. The role As an infrastructure engineer you will: Manage the day-to-day administration of Azure including operational challenges and maintenance backups Design and build scalable infrastructure solutions Provide technical testing and analysis in relation to systems projects and BAU Activities Build and maintain a good knowledge base of key activities and infrastructure data Configuration of Autopilot and SCCM Co-Managed Windows devices with Intune for Windows Updates Ensure change requires and orders are raised with infrastructure partners for both BAU and project-led works Establish good relationships with 3rd party vendors to support progress of issues and service optimization Travel to sites locally to deal with any issues/incidents relating to the Infrastructure provision Key skills required As an Infrastructure Engineer you will have experience in the following areas: Azure AD - including administration Cisco VMware M365 Intune ESXI (up to version 8 ideally) Rubrik Backup SDDC What you get in return A salary between £44,000 - £48,000 plus benefits including a generous annual leave entitlement and pension. Additional information Please note that as this role requires travel to multiple sites you will be required to hold a valid driving license and have access to a vehicle for work purposes.
