Key Responsibilities for the Manufacturing Planner job: Production Scheduling: Create and manage production schedules based on customer orders, inventory levels, and production capacities, while raising manufacturing orders in line with MRP planned demand. Resource Planning: Ensure the effective allocation of labor, materials, and machinery to meet production goals, minimizing downtime. Order Prioritization: Prioritize production orders to meet delivery schedules and customer requirements. Inventory Management: Monitor raw material and finished goods levels, ensuring optimal inventory to meet production needs. Problem Solving: Identify and resolve production bottlenecks and operational challenges. Communication: Collaborate with various departments to ensure smooth production flow and address any supply chain issues. Reporting: Track key production metrics and report on performance to management. Continuous Improvement: Actively seek out and implement opportunities for increased efficiency, cost reduction, and streamlined processes.
