Staffbase is recruiting for the position of Electrical Maintenance Engineer to work at our client's busy manufacturing plant near Bilston.
The Electrical Maintenance Engineer will have good knowledge of PLC programming and will join the busy maintenance team to undertake machine maintenance, repair, and project work throughout the factory.
The Role:
Reporting to the engineering manager, you will be required to undertake planned and reactive electrical maintenance activities on a wide range of plant and machinery. Your duties will include but are not limited to:
1. Electrical maintenance and repair of industrial drives and control systems
2. Fault finding and repair on a wide range of plant and equipment including CNC and Robot machinery
3. Assist with machine installations and upgrade projects
4. Maintenance of motors, contactors, sensors, relays, switch gear, etc.
5. Site facilities electrical maintenance and repair
6. PPM and accurately recording activities
Candidate:
We are seeking an electrical maintenance engineer with previous experience in maintaining automated and semi-automated machinery in a heavy manufacturing environment.
You will have a recognised electrical engineering qualification (e.g., NVQ 3 or 18th edition electrical installation regulations).
You will have excellent single and three-phase electrical fault finding and repair skills, and you will have excellent PLC controls experience, preferably with some programming knowledge.
Hours of Work:
Monday to Friday double days
6 am to 1:30 pm and 1:30 pm to 9 pm (Rotating)
