AWE is looking for a Programme Support Manager to join the team.
Location: RG7 4PR, located between Reading and Basingstoke, with free onsite parking.
Package: Starting from £64,780 (depending on your suitability, qualifications, and level of experience)

The role requires an individual who can readily attend AWE on site to build and maintain high quality relationships and support the whole of the decommissioning/demolition delivery organisation. However, AWE offers agile flexible working arrangements, therefore elements of the role can be delivered through remote working.

As the Programme Support Manager, you will work within the P3M function to support the delivery of a programme of work consisting of several highly complex major projects to time, cost and quality, compliant with AWE processes. You will be responsible for the planning and coordination of work access and authorisation along with looking after engineering design contracts. You will need to be in control of the CDM compliance and works authorisation and control (Risk Assessment/Method Statement).
Key Accountabilities:
Delivery of a medium degree of risk, complexity & value programme or portfolio, compliant with AWE processes.
Lead, coach and develop team members and hold them to account and influence across and outside the company.
Maintain and promote high personal standards in environment, safety, health, security and quality and be a great team player.
Key Responsibilities:
Support a programme or portfolio of projects with focus on delivery and governance (compliance and reporting).
Management of multiple resources across the programme /portfolio (people, money).
Approve the planning of the programme, portfolio or function.
Support changes to the programme or portfolio against the Performance Measurement Baseline (PMB).
Direct, initiate and perform risk and opportunity management with subsequent mitigation and contingency actions.
Coordinate internal, external suppliers and support functions to ensure efficient delivery whilst minimising down time.
