Stepgates is a forward thinking, well-resourced mainstream primary school with a Specialist Centre for 29 children with Communication and Interaction Needs.
We are looking to appoint a Higher Level Teaching Assistant who is enthusiastic, dedicated and a forward thinking person to join our dedicated, friendly and motivated team; and support our Headteacher in achieving our vision for this good school on its journey towards outstanding.

We are seeking a HLTA who:
• has both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 experience;
• holds a recognised HLTA qualification
• is enthusiastic and highly organised about all aspects of learning and teaching with high expectations of attainment and behaviour from all pupils;
• has strong Computing skills and is able to support computing development across the school;
• has a belief in inclusion, diversity and the right of each child to be successful whatever their needs, abilities and background;
• is able to inspire, motivate and foster excellent relationships, working in partnership with staff, parents, governors and our wider community;
• has good inter-personal skills. a sense of humour and the ability to work as part of a hard working, enthusiastic and committed team;
• is committed to their own professional development and is keen to make a significant contribution to the life of our school.
