MIS Officer - Timetables, Registers & Audit (Maternity Cover)
The Leicestershire College is looking for an enthusiastic, conscientious, and flexible MIS Officer to provide maternity cover of 13 months, starting around July 2025 in the Management Information Services department within the MIS team.
This role will involve assisting in providing an efficient timetabling and register system to the College, supporting staff in the effective use of such systems, and producing reports on key data where required.
The role links into the curriculum planning process and provides context between those initial plans into the subsequent timetables, assisting with the audit of post enrolment performance checks and monitoring/reconciliation and reporting.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone interested in data and systems to develop knowledge and experience. To be considered for this position, you'll already have Maths and English GCSE passes or equivalent, excellent IT and communication skills, attention to detail, and a flexible approach.
Specific experience working in FE funding or timetabling would be an advantage, but it is not essential for someone with the right skills.
The College is striving to attract, develop and retain the very best people by offering a motivating and inclusive workplace in which talent is truly recognised. We are committed to promoting a diverse and inclusive community with the belief that diversity plays an important role in the success of our business.
We are proud to have achieved the Investor in Diversity award. We actively encourage applications from current under-represented groups and are using positive action under the Equality Act. We welcome everyone to consider becoming a part of our journey.
Alongside our commitment to your professional and personal development, we also offer a generous benefits package including:
* A competitive pension scheme
* On-site parking
* One campus facility
* Subsidised nursery fees
* Up to 25 days annual leave per year
* Additional annual leave available
* Fantastic CPD and inclusive resources for development
* Well-being hours
* Opportunities for volunteering within local community and charities
We offer a range of family-friendly, inclusive employment policies, flexible working arrangements, and agile working where the business allows. We provide staff forums, staff working groups for sustainability, staff steering groups for Investors in Diversity, and support services to assist with mental health and wellbeing for staff from different backgrounds.
The successful candidate will be employed by The Leicestershire College, a subsidiary company of Loughborough College. The terms and conditions of employment offered by The Leicestershire College are different from those of Loughborough College. Please note that employees of The Leicestershire College are based at Loughborough College.
