Crown Worldwide Group currently has an opening for a: Relocations Logistics and Supply Chain Manager for the UK and Ireland
Location: Ruislip, West London - 100% office based
The role of the Relocations Logistics and Supply Chain Manager is integral within the Corporate and Private Relocations Business. The principal objective of the role is to enhance business performance by identifying gaps within booked household goods jobs, reviewing where better margins can and should be made, and analyzing trends in performance.
A fundamental aspect of this role will be to sustain a reasonable margin across our Household Goods (HHGs) business units across the UK, Ireland, and Benelux. Alongside this, working with the business unit heads to advise on where we could do things differently to improve margins in the long term.
The Relocations Logistics and Supply Chain Manager is accountable for the quality of our Service Partners, reviewing feedback and how we can constantly improve this for our customers, working within the framework of our Operational Structure. In addition to this, to analyze pricing points with Service Partners throughout the year to ensure we remain competitive in our market and that our margins are maintained at a strong operating level. Establish any operational training of systems or service delivery and ensure relevant support is provided resulting in tangible improvements. Ongoing review of client matrices to find more cost-effective ways of delivering services. Work with the client services team to find the most cost-effective Service Partners.
Key Focus Areas
• Ensuring the excellent quality of our relocation services in Benelux, UK, and Ireland
• Management of systems ensuring the validation of information that is currently invalid and unusable.
• Operational P&L accountability.
• Responsible for Supply-chain cost, productivity, and quality.
• Analysis of information feedback and development of Service Partner feedback systems in line with European partners.
• Development, implementation, and management of quality site visit systems including virtual quality visits (VQV).
• Development, implementation, and management of quarterly SP Scorecard Systems using valid ARC reports.
• Management of UK, Ireland, and Benelux warehouse storage for both Corporate and Private.
• Monthly analysis and review of financial performance and margin analysis.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
• Relationship management between service partners and Crown for long-term working partnerships.
• Reporting back to the Head of Client Services on the monthly operations meeting, ensuring it provides a forum for discussion.
• Identifying and implementing quality performance improvement opportunities and measures.
• Analyze and provide a better understanding of the HHGs margins on our corporate/private clients.
• Find ways to deliver improved Revenues and Gross Margins, where possible.
• Support the company sustainability commitment and goals.
• Demonstrate and promote the company vision and values.
• Create client reporting for departmental use.
• Standardize and improve current processes and workflows.

Professional Knowledge and Skills
• Must have relevant experience in the Household Goods/relocations industry.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to build collaborative relationships with multiple and diverse stakeholders.
• Well-developed administration and organization skills with strong attention to detail.
• Knowledge of safety and legal procedures for handling and receiving goods.
• Applicable computer skills with experience using Microsoft Office including Word, Excel.
• Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
• Knowledge of the functionality of machinery and equipment.
