Ecologist (Project Management Experience)
Salary: £27,000 - £32,000
Location: Hampshire
We are currently seeking an Ecologist to join a leading ecological consultancy based in rural Hampshire. This is a great opportunity for an individual passionate about ecology, who is looking to grow their career in a friendly, collaborative environment, in a company that will support you to get to where you want to be.
You'll be working as part of a supportive team of experienced ecologists, providing expert advice and implementing a variety of survey and mitigation strategies across a wide range of projects. You'll have the chance to make a real impact, ensuring that both development and conservation goals are achieved successfully.
Ecologist Requirements:
1. A degree in Ecology or a similar relevant subject
2. Experience conducting protected species and habitat surveys
3. Strong project management skills, particularly in small to medium-sized projects
4. Excellent report writing skills - PEA, EIA, and BNG reports
5. Protected Species Licence(s)
6. Understanding of UK and European Ecological legislation
7. IT Proficiency
8. Full UK driving licence
9. The right to work in the UK
10. QGIS Experience
11. CIEEM Membership
