Job Purpose
This role is pivotal as we aim to strengthen our market position, enhance customer engagement, and increase sales growth in this critical area.
Market Research & Analysis:
* Conduct in-depth market research to identify market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities.
* Analyse sales data and customer feedback to identify opportunities for growth.
* Share insights and findings with the team to inform strategic decisions.
Strategic Planning & Execution:
* Collaborate with the Volkswagen head office team to develop and implement strategic plans for sales.
* Monitor progress against targets and adjust strategies as needed to ensure success.
Training & Development:
* Develop and deliver training sessions for BDMs and other stakeholders to enhance product knowledge and sales techniques.
* Provide ongoing support and guidance to BDMs, ensuring they have the tools and information needed to succeed.
* Stay up to date with industry trends, new products, and technologies to maintain expertise in the field.
Customer Support & Relationship Management:
* Act as a customer support function, assisting customers with inquiries, providing technical support, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
* Attend customer meetings, centre visits, and industry events to promote products and build relationships.
Collaboration & Communication:
* Work closely with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, and customer service to ensure alignment and consistency in messaging and strategy.
