Job Description:
We are excited to be advertising for a Band 7 clinician to lead Children & Family Health Devon in delivering multidisciplinary streaming and triage of complex referrals for children and young people across Devon. We are looking for an experienced clinician with a range of skills in supporting a wide range of complex health care needs, to support the management of the triage process. We are keen to hear from professionals interested in supporting timely professional review and risk assessment of requests for help. This opportunity is a countywide role, offered on a 12-month Secondment or Fixed term contract, 30 hours a week over five days.
Main Duties of the Job
1. Undertaking the triage and overseeing countywide MDT triage of complex referrals for children and young people.
2. Communication and support to families and referrers.
3. Support and guidance to colleagues contributing to the multidisciplinary Triage model.
4. Support and advice to Single Point of Access staff with complex referrals.
5. Clinical management and oversight of Integrated Screening Meetings and Multi Agency Pathway Meetings.
6. Build and maintain positive professional relationships with internal and external professional colleagues.

Qualifications
* Educated to Degree level or equivalent in a relevant subject and registered with HCPC, RCN or equivalent.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
* Effective interpersonal, organisational and communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly with a wide variety of colleagues and service users, both verbally and in writing.
Experience
* Experience of managing relationships with senior clinical staff particularly the interface between clinical decision making and how business resources can support this.
* Experience of developing and delivering quality improvement initiatives.
