Maintenance Electrician | Commercial Environments | OTE: £50,000 - £55,000 per annum | Swindon | Travel Time Pay Scheme (detailed below) | Weekly Pay | Company Van + Fuel Card & Employment Package.
We are actively recruiting for qualified Electricians to work as Maintenance Electricians, carrying out a range of planned maintenance, reactive maintenance, minor installations/projects, and testing and inspection (qualification dependent) duties across commercial environments.
Salary:
1. Maintenance Electrician Salary: £42,600
2. 2391 Maintenance Electrician: £46,600
3. OTE: £50,000 - £65,000 per annum including overtime, call out etc.
Package: What's in it for you?
1. Permanent, PAYE Position - Paid Weekly
2. £18.25 - £19.85 per hour, based on a standard 45-hour paid working week (£42.6K - £46.6K).
3. Standard basic hours: 07:00 am - 5:30 pm including travel time. (Site Hours estimated 08:00 am - 4:30 pm)
4. Locations: Swindon and Surrounding areas (up to 50 mile radius).
5. Travel time: D2D (Door to Door) Pay after 30 minutes each way.
6. Overtime Rates: x2 on-site, x1.5 travel time.
7. Call Out Rota: 1 in 4 weeks: £100 per week standby + D2D at overtime rates.
8. Company van, fuel card, uniform, and phone provided.
9. Company pension, 28 days paid annual leave (inc BH) etc.
10. Company funded training and up-skilling.
Duties:
1. Electrical fault finding, wiring, cabling, single/3 phase power supplies, power distribution, power isolation, fuse boards, lighting (emergency/safety, decorative, security), LED/Lighting upgrades, ballasts/lamps, electrical components within HVAC equipment, installing/replacing electrical appliances/accessories (i.e.: maglocks), access control panels, sockets, circuits etc.
2. Providing detailed remedial reports.
3. Adhering to health and safety/compliance policies.
4. Updating the office on availability.
5. Liaising with clients as and when needed in a client-facing role.
Requirements:
1. Must be a qualified Electrician in the UK (i.e.: NVQ Level 3 / City and Guilds 2330 Level 3 / City and Guilds 2360 Part 2 or equivalent).
2. 2391 / 2394 / 2395 Testing and Inspection qualifications would be preferable and be paid at the higher rate.
3. Experience carrying out maintenance and minor installations in commercial/light commercial environments is highly preferable.
4. Able to legally work and drive in the UK with under 9 points on your license.
