Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 5 Nurse on Ward B3 Halton, at Warrington & Halton Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, (Halton Site). Ward B3 is a busy, fast pace Ready for Discharge Ward with an inpatient bed base comprising of 27 beds, maintaining the safety of patients who are medically optimized for discharge but have complex discharge needs. Applicants should have excellent communication skills, the ability to prioritize own workload, and work well as part of a team. We are a multi- disciplinary department where the team consist of Doctors, Nurses, Health Care Assistants, discharge facilitator, Allied Health Professionals and Student Nurses.
Main duties of the job
The successful Candidate will be responsible for the assessment planning, delivery and evaluation of nursing care as well as work collaboratively with our multi-disciplinary team in providing patient centred care. The post holder is responsible as a registered, accountable, and autonomous nurse to always act in the best interest of patients and to take responsibility for their own actions and decisions. You will be responsible for planning, delivering, and supervising safe and compassionate care. The post holder will support staff in the development of clinical procedures, protocols, and practice to ensure the effective delivery of service to patients within the trust.
