Hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week. Location: Based at our Hospice in Loughborough, with occasional travel to our retail stores across the East Midlands. About the role some of the key responsibilities include (but not limited to): Act as the first point of contact for building-related issues, liaising with employees and external contractors. Support health and safety compliance through risk assessments, policy updates, and maintaining auditable documentation. Manage and administer health and safety software, including DATIX and SoloProtect, as well as facilities management tools. Coordinate the housekeeping and catering teams to ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery. Provide administrative support for facilities and health & safety operations, including report writing, database management, and minute-taking. Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, offering advice and guidance as needed. Responsible for Health and Safety administration and coordination, ensuring legal compliance, producing risk assessments and ensuring safe systems of work at all times as well as providing advice and guidance as appropriate. Requirements We're looking for someone who is passionate about facilities management, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and has the skills to juggle multiple responsibilities while maintaining high standards. Strong customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively. Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail. Knowledge of facilities management operations, including compliance and contractor control. Experience working in property or facilities management. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and related software. IOSH or NEBOSH qualifications (preferred but not essential). Previous experience in roles offering high levels of customer service.
