Location: Maidstone, servicing all care packages in Kent - this is a field based role.
We are looking for an experienced complex care assistant who is ready to step up to be our Field Care Supervisor in our Complex Care department. You will visit new and existing clients and oversee our care team in Kent. As our Field Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in supporting the growing demands of our specialised complex care services.
Salary:£26,000 to £28,000 per annum, depending on experience,
Contract:Full-time, permanent contract.

In this varied role you will spend your time both in the office writing new care plans and updating existing care plans as well as out in the community supervising our passionate care assistants and building relationships with our clients.
Full UK driving licence and your own car is essential for this role.
What you will be doing as our Field Care Supervisor:
You will work closely with our Care Manager who will support you to oversee our clients in the West Kent area. You will get to know our clients diverse complex needs and induct our Complex Care Assistants into their care package ensuring they have the required competent clinical skills through relevant training and supervision.
Your Responsibilities:
Collaborate with our Care Manager to setup care packages, write and update care plans, meet with our clients and introduce new staff to our clients
Maintain familiarity with the complex needs of each of our clients to ensure continuity and consistency as per their care plan. Carry out care reviews and quality assurance visits with clients.
Supervise and shadow our new care assistants through their induction, manage competency assessments, observations, medication sign offs and mentor our care assistants
Work with the care coordinator to maintain shift cover within each care package team
Perform clinical duties of personal care, medication administration and meal preparation
Liaise daily with the office team and your line manager
Participate in the on-call rota, shared with the wider team

Requirements:
Experience of supporting those with disabilities and complex health needs
A level 3 or above Health and Social Care qualification or willing to attend fully funded training and achieve a QCF level 3 Health and Social Care qualification within the first year of employment
Strong communication, excellent organisation and problem-solving skills
