Mechanical Project Manager
An exciting opportunity has come up to work for a well-known building services contractor based in Nottingham.
As Mechanical Project Manager, you will be looking after multiple projects from inception to completion at any one time, being responsible for the control, delivery, and financials of projects.
Mechanical Project Manager - Duties and Responsibilities:
Managing projects and delivering against contracted delivery targets.
Liaising closely with the other company project team members, including clients, structural engineers, builders, architects and surveyors, and in-house project teams.
Preparation and implementation of method statements and risk assessments and monitoring adherence.
Procurement and control of sub-contractor packages to cover labour resource requirements for projects.
Procurement of relevant plant and materials requirements and managing site deliveries.
Managing all expenditure to ensure that the work is kept within the approved project budget.
Regular site visits monitoring works progress and ensuring the quality of work is to the required standard.
Attending a range of project group and technical meetings. Maintain close relationships and strong
Essential Skills / Qualifications
HND / HNC desirable.
Full Driving Licence - (Clean licence Desirable).
CSCS qualification. (SMSTS/SSSTS Desirable).
Previous experience managing large Mechanical projects, from start to finish.
Good knowledge of HVAC and mechanical services industries.
Package:
£50,000 - £60,000
Bonuses ( x 2 per annum )

Progression Opportunities
This role will require the successful candidate to travel each week to project sites but will not require extended periods away from home.
Consideration will be given to people with only some of the above skills, however, this will be reflected in the salary. The company are happy to invest in training for the right person.
