We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to oversee building services projects across commercial, educational, and public health sectors. This role is available on a contractor appointment basis or PAYE. Key Responsibilities: ·Oversee projects from conception to completion, ensuring quality, budget control, and timely delivery. ·Plan, coordinate, and manage MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) installations. ·Manage and oversee commissioning, ensuring proper handover and client familiarisation. ·Compile and produce testing, handover, and O&M documentation at project completion. ·Ensure all mechanical and electrical works comply with specifications, drawings, and industry standards. ·Develop and monitor project programmes, recording progress, delays, and contract variations. ·Manage subcontractor selection, appointments, and coordination. ·Address and resolve any defects or quality compliance issues. ·Maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and the supply chain. ·Communicate effectively with all project stakeholders, including clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams. ·Provide leadership and guidance to site teams throughout the project lifecycle. ·Ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials, tools, and equipment. ·Conduct cost-effective procurement and establish supplier relationships. ·Review and understand project drawings, schematics, and specifications. ·Prepare regular progress reports, meeting minutes, and financial reports. ·Ensure compliance with health & safety standards, conducting regular site inspections. ·Maintain accurate H&S documentation and enforce safety measures on-site. Requirements: ·Proven experience as a Building Services Project Manager, specifically within Electrical/Mechanical systems for commercial projects. ·Strong understanding of both Design & Build and traditional contract projects. ·Excellent project management, problem-solving, and leadership skills. ·Proficiency in project management software and MS Office. ·Relevant industry qualifications and experience. ·SMSTS/SSSTS certification and valid CSCS card. ·Strong communication and teamwork skills. ·Prior experience in site management and delivering projects successfully.
