Retail Sales Assistant (6-month fixed term contract)

We are seeking temporary retail sales assistants across our shops including Highworth, Penhill, Royal Wootton Bassett, Taw Hill and Wroughton.
About Prospect Hospice
Our shops are the heart of our charity and the community. By selling pre-loved items and promoting sustainable shopping, we raise funds to provide exceptional care for those living with life-limiting illnesses. As part of our retail team, you’ll directly contribute to delivering vital care at our hospice in Wroughton.
Hours: 7.5 hours per week (1 day per week, on a flexible basis to be agreed. This may include working on weekends or a Bank Holiday)
What is the role?
As a Retail Sales Assistant, you’ll:
Provide outstanding customer service to ensure every shopper feels welcome.
Take an active role in driving sales and presenting attractive displays.
Work closely with volunteers, fostering a friendly and collaborative environment.
Be an ambassador for Prospect Hospice and promote our charity’s values.
This role is perfect if you’re enthusiastic about fashion, second-hand shopping, or upcycling, and want to gain valuable retail experience.
What We’re Looking For:
A friendly, team-focused attitude.
A passion for sustainable fashion and trends.
Great customer service skills and a willingness to learn.
Previous retail experience is a plus, but not essential – we’ll train you!
Additional Information:
Applicants must be over 18 due to key-holder responsibilities.
You’ll need access to transportation, as you may occasionally work at other shop locations.
You may be asked to work at other locations or additional hours if needed.
