Morgan McKinley are seeking an experienced All-Round Interim Accountant to join a leading international retail business on a 6-month contract. You will be responsible for managing key aspects of the month-end process, accruals, reconciliations, and balance sheet, while adding value to the FP&A team. This role is paying £45,000 - £50,000 doe with hybrid working available. Key Responsibilities: Manage month-end accounting processes, including accruals and reconciliations. Handle balance sheet reconciliations and ensure accurate reporting. Support Victor in overseeing all EMEA general ledger transactions. Work collaboratively with the FP&A team, contributing insights and value-added support. Accurately manage and process accruals in accordance with company policies. Perform ad-hoc tasks and assist with process improvements where necessary. Key Requirements: Strong knowledge and experience with month-end accounting processes, reconciliations, and balance sheet management. Ability to handle accruals accurately and efficiently. Strong Excel skills and experience with financial modeling. Open to candidates who are either fully qualified or part-qualified accountants. A proactive approach to adding value to the FP&A team. Previous experience in retail or international businesses is a plus. Excellent communication skills, able to collaborate across teams and time zones.
